kreativnosti i ideja.
nalazi vaš thebat.exe i [re]startujete TB. I to je to. Vaš TB treba sad da pokaže nove glifove
koje ste napravili.
Prijatna zabava!

Firts of all, you have to have such a bitmap (.bmp) as this one above is. (This one
above is actually its gif replication of around 20 KB, so that we'd avoid loading of 150 KB of bmp
original; original bmp and two variants more you have in
packet glphtb01.zip,
so use them as a model.) Such one
resides in the TB!, built in it, but if you above bmp rename in glyphs.bmp, put it
in folder where thebat.exe is, and restart the mailer, then this built in bmp will be
replaced by this new one and you'll have right these icons you see on the picture,
insteed usual ones.
When you have, therefore, such a bitmap, you edit it as any other picture, in some
of graphic programs you like. I use sometimes, for instance, Fireworks and
these glyphs above are modified by this program.
This what you should pay attention at is: a) that each glyph is placed in the
own space of 25 x 25 pixels and that you shouldn't scribble beyond this field; b) that
you should take care of this that you center your own handmade glyph exactly in the
place it's been standing in original, or all of that will, when you start TB, look very bizarre.
You must, therefore, closely follow the order in which the glyphs are aligned and this
order you may not change.
Editing method is something I wouldn't speak about, since it depends on
your own creativity and ideas. In general, there are three basic "techniques", which I
tapped myself: a) "naked" drawing (you take and draw on empty "paper", "from
the scratch"); b) capturing from some other places (let's say from other mailers and
applications) and c) modifying those captured icons (scribbling over them until I get
what I need).
When you have finished all of that and want to see how it looks in the
program, then, let's repeat: your work, the bitmap (which strictly must be
named glyphs.bmp), you place in the folder where your thebat.exe resides
and [re]start TB. And that's it. Your TB should show now the new glyphs
you made.
Have a fun!
